Tree Removal
Safe sectional dismantling, professional rigging and full waste clearance — serving Essex, London and Kent.

Crown Care Tree Services provides safe, controlled tree removal for homes, gardens and commercial sites. Whether a tree is diseased, storm-damaged, overhanging buildings, or simply the wrong species for the space, we plan the work to protect fences, lawns, patios and neighbouring property.
We dismantle trees in sections where space is tight, using ropes and rigging to lower heavy timber safely. Branches are fed through our wood chippers and arisings are removed from site — you are not left with piles of brush or logs unless you ask to keep material for firewood or habitat.
Our team is used to awkward drops, trees near conservatories and garages, and tight side access. We will talk you through the approach before we start so you know what to expect on the day.
All work is carried out with professional climbing equipment and ground support. We are happy to coordinate with neighbours or manage short-term parking and access if we know in advance.

Why homeowners choose us
Tree removal is high-risk work. We invest in training, kit and planning so the job is predictable from the first cut to the last barrow of chip.
Professional & accountable
We plan every removal carefully and stand behind our work from first look to final sweep-up — clear communication and a tidy site when we leave.
Trained climbers & ground crew
Removal is planned as a sequence of cuts and lowers — not guesswork. Ground staff manage ropes, drops and public safety throughout.
Controlled lowering
Where felling in one piece is not safe, we dismantle the tree in sections so weight never lands uncontrolled on sheds, glass or boundary fences.
Full waste handling
Chipping and removal of arisings is included in our usual scope. Your garden is left ready to use again without hidden extras for clearance.
When is tree removal the right option?
Removal is often the right choice when a tree is dead, dying or structurally unstable and cannot be made safe by pruning alone. The same applies when roots are damaging drives or foundations, or when crown reduction would leave an unsustainable, weak structure.
Sometimes a healthy tree is simply in the wrong place — outgrowing a small garden, blocking light, or conflicting with an extension. We will give an honest view: if pruning or crown reduction could solve the problem, we will say so.
Trees in conservation areas or subject to a Tree Preservation Order (TPO) may need local authority consent before removal. We can work to approved specifications once permission is in place — you remain responsible for securing consent where it applies.
What happens on the day?
After agreeing access and any parking, we set up lowering ropes and work areas, then remove the tree in a planned order — usually crown first, then trunk in manageable sections. Woodchip is blown or barrowed to our vehicles; larger timber can be cut for removal or left for you by arrangement.
We aim to minimise disruption to lawns and beds using ground protection where it helps. Before we leave, we walk the site with you so you are happy with the clearance.

“Used Crown Care to remove a large oak that was overhanging our garage. The team were professional, tidy, and the price was very fair. Would highly recommend.”
